        RS232/RS485


        HOTLCD intelligent TFT module is specially designed for industrial display applications and supports RS232/RS485 interface. Customers can pre-store a variety of display patterns in the module, and realize the rapid change and refresh of the screen, so as to achieve a wonderful display interface. The intelligent display module can greatly reduce the load of the host on the display interface and reduce the requirements on the host, thereby reducing system hardware cost and design difficulty, while improving stability and reliability.


        The UART interface is simple and reliable, and is widely used in embedded systems, communication equipment, industrial control equipment and other fields. Its advantages include faster transmission speed, simple and easy to implement interface, and low cost. At the same time, the UART interface also has some disadvantages, such as inability to perform multiplexing, limited transmission distance, and limited transmission speed. Therefore, in some high-speed and long-distance data transmission scenarios, the UART interface may not be applicable, and other more complex interfaces need to be used.


        MCU


        In compact products, it is usually only necessary to provide bus interfaces to peripherals, and it is recommended to use MCU interface products. Designers can choose 8-bit or 16-bit interface products according to their needs.


        LVDS


        In industrial control equipment, due to system and structural limitations, the distance between the display and the main board is relatively long. HOTLCD's LVDS products are the ideal choice for TFT display solutions, which can place the main board in a protected position, meet the design requirements for the display to be far away from the main board, and provide reliable display effects.


        VGA/HDMI


        PC-level industrial control motherboards usually have a VGA or HDMI display interface, and with HOTLCD’s various sizes of industrial-grade VGA/HDMI products, it can not only meet the display function, but also improve product stability and structural compatibility, allowing customers The design of the whole machine is more flexible.


        RGB


        A new generation of higher-performance MCUs all have TFT controllers inside. In the case that the motherboard and the display are close, the RGB interface (also known as TTL interface) products of HOTLCD can bring better cost advantages to the overall design and meet the application of industrial control environment.


        SPI


        The advantages of the SPI interface include reliable data transmission, simple use, etc., so it is widely used in many fields, such as industrial control, communication, automotive electronics, embedded systems, etc. The SPI interface is only 3L/4L and does not need to occupy multiple pins, so it is very suitable for use in application scenarios with limited pins of the main control chip. The disadvantage of SPI is that the communication speed is slow, and it is only suitable for displays below 3.5 inches and low resolution (320x480).


        MIPI


        The MIPI interface also features low power consumption, enabling longer battery life for mobile devices. In addition, the MIPI interface is flexible in design and can be customized according to specific application scenarios, such as defining different protocols, rates, and data bandwidths. Therefore, the MIPI interface has been widely used in mobile devices, automotive electronics, smart home and other fields.
